Too personal

What’s so personal about personal training anyway?

NOTHING when a trainer stands in front of you chewing gum and drinking coffee, and chatting about your weekend plans, picking exercises out of a hat.

It amazes me that the service that was once considered luxurious has such low standards. I’m saddened to see so many trainers simply spending time with clients instead of making this time count.

EVERYTHING is personal when every moment of every session counts, when workouts are built for your ability, and when your safety is a priority.

The one thing I’m not good at is counting repetitions because I pay so much attention to your form and limbs, and tempo that I lose count often. So you’d have to push for another rep and become even stronger. Oops.

I’m proud to have learnt from some top trainers in the industry and it’s not only the knowledge I’ve acquired. It’s the high standards and quality service that I learnt. I realized that I’m teaching my clients in a way that I want to be thought . And boy, would I never want to be paying someone just to count my push ups.
